DISSEMINATION

The Predict-Er project was presented to students from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Niš, during a field visit to the Jelašnička Gorge. The activity highlighted the main objectives of the project and the importance of monitoring erosion and lad degradation. Particular attention was given to remote sensing methods and use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in terrain analysis and erosion assessment within the Predict-Er project. During the field presentation, a drone equipped with a camera was used to show how aerial surveys and spatial data collection are conducted for erosion research. Students were introduced to soils developed on limestone and lake sediments, together with their susceptibility to erosion processes.
